Christmas can be a hard time for many families and with so many expectations from children it can leave parents with some tough decisions.

Ray White is one organisation that is doing their part to help locals here in Logan and across the country and New Zealand.

A Little Ray of Giving is the real estate company’s own seasonal charity initiative where offices partner with philanthropic organisations and locals to collect donations.

For the past decade, this initiative has provided some much-needed support and care to families that struggle over the demanding holiday period, while allowing Ray White members to give back to their local communities.

Donations can be made to Ray White Beenleigh, 131 City Road, Beenleigh in the way of new toys however no violent toys, clothes, shoes or toiletries, no food or drinks and no second-hand toys.

Ray White is working with Defenders For Hope in Logan Village and working with two shelters, their clients and the Logan City Christmas Brigade for Foster Children to be the recipients of the presents this year.

“Each Shelter has approx. 20 Children and the brigade has approx. 150 kids”, said Corrine Forsyth from Ray White Beenleigh.

“The ages range from one to 17 however we do find we never have enough teenage-appropriate presents.

“Our entire office is involved, and we have 24 staff members, run by Corrine Forsyth, Bec Cragg and Anerley Walker.”

Donations need to be in by Friday 9th December.
