The Logan Gardens Water Park can be found in the middle of the Logan Gardens in Logan Central with the closest car park found at the end of Civic Parade.

The gardens are spread over several hectares of landscaped parklands and is a green oasis amid an otherwise concrete jungle. The site of the Logan Gardens Water Park is adjacent to the adventure playground and add to the variety of passive and recreational play activities that enhance area.

A 50 – 75mm deep wading space provides a safe area for younger children to splash and explore. Bench seating and shade has been carefully designed to provide all-day comfort for both users and carers.

The choreographed fountains were one of the first installations of its kind in Australia, another win for Logan, with multiple light and fountain shows developed to add exciting theatrical elements to the space. 

At night, a stunning display lights up the “Flags of the World” theme, providing a central community hub for events and social activation late into the night.

Construction of the water park was completed in December 2019, with final landscaping completed in January 2020. The official opening was the 2020 Australia Day long weekend and from that time the park has been well received and is often very well used every weekend.

The waterpark is suitable and enjoyable realistically for younger children. There is plenty of shade and waterspouts to keep the kids moving around.

Logan Gardens other facilities include toilets, drinking water electric BBQ’s, walking tracks, dog off-leash areas, fitness equipment with 17 different types to use, playgrounds, liberty swing and more.

There are many charming grassy spots under large gums, which provide ideal locations to picnic and many more spots for photo opportunities within the park.

As the days warm up, Logan Gardens Water Park is a great place to discover in the middle of Logan and if the water playground doesn’t interest you, there is a lot of other activities to do.
