The City of Logan is home to many outstanding citizens who toil away with little recognition.
But once a year on our national day they get a chance to bask in the spotlight, however reluctantly.
If you know someone who deserves recognition for their contribution to this wonderful city, nominate them for a City of Logan Australia Day Award.
Logan City Council are looking for a Citizen of the Year and a Young Citizen of the Year with nominations open now.
City of Logan Acting Mayor Cherie Dalley said Logan is home to many people who deserve acknowledgement.
“It’s never easy choosing a winner as we always receive so many quality entries,” Cr Dalley said.
“Whether it’s through their career or as a volunteer in their spare time we are so grateful to those who, through their efforts, make Logan an even greater place to live.
“Please don’t hesitate to nominate them as not only is it a fitting reward for them personally, it can also bring attention to the causes they advocate.”
