Pickleball is a game played on a quarter sized tennis court - with solid paddles and a plastic wiffle ball. It was created in the 1960’s in the USA but has seen a recent surge in popularity throughout the world.

Pickleball can be played by all ages, and by people of any fitness level and skill set. It is very easy to learn and fun to play and a great family sport.

Beenleigh Tennis and Pickleball Centre has seven dedicated Pickleball courts and has become the heart of the sport in Logan. The game can be played day or night as the club installed brand new, top of the range, LED lighting system above their Pickleball show courts.

The facility, which also includes eight hard-courts, two synthetic grass courts, a viewing deck, and a fully stocked pro-shop, sits adjacent to Club Beenleigh and the Bull N Barra restaurant.

In February, the club held a free come and try day which saw a large crowd turn out to give the game a go.

Outdoor activity is crucial to staying healthy and social interaction is also extremely important for mental health. Beenleigh Tennis Centre has a wide range of COVID complaint social activities and events to help people get back into the community.

Open seven days a week from 7am till 11pm and you can call 3807 5836 to have a go.
