On Tuesday May 4, officers from the Logan District Crime Prevention Team and Cluedo the Police Dog attended the Kings Christian Colleges ‘fun run carnival’.
This school opened in 2020, but due to Covid-19, this was the first public event they were able to hold where family and friends were able to attend and show their support.
Kids aged from prep to grade four participated by running around a set course, while representing their in-house sporting teams.

During the day, parents were also invited to participate in a ‘tug-of-war’ competition, which one of the officers could not resist joining in on.
Cluedo the Police Dog made an appearance and was seen taking photos with the parents, teachers, and kids.
Cluedo also stood at the finish line handing out high-fives to all the little athletes.

Police officers are often on the go, but they always love when they can find time to attend events within their local communities.
