Logan District Police want as many people in the community as possible to properly secure their vehicle’s registration plates, by obtaining “Safe PL8 Packs” containing anti-theft screws.
Anti-theft screws are a special type of “one way” screw which, when used to attach your registration plate to your vehicle, can only be removed with a specially designed tool.
This special removal tool is not sold to members of the public and this special tool can only be used by police officers.
With this simple step, you can save yourself the cost and trouble of having to replace stolen number plates.
