The Tansey Park Community Markets held their first event in September this year at the Loganholme Cricket Club grounds. Now due to a clash with the cricket season the markets are moving and taking on a new name.

Now known as Our Community Markets the team have taken the next event scheduled for Saturday 5th December to Usher Park in Daisy Hill which is home to Slacks Creek Rugby League.

A spokesperson for the market said unfortunately due to us clashing with cricket season it created too many restrictions on the market being at Tansey Park.

“We will be moving the market to Usher Park in Daisy Hill.

“I know this is extremely disappointing for the suburb of Loganholme, I myself wanted this event to stay in my direct neighbourhood, but Daisy Hill is only a 10 minute drive away.

“We will make this an event worth the travel and there is a massive space, still plenty of parking and amenities plus a beautiful new licenced clubhouse on site.”

The market will feature many of the wonderful stalls from the first event and will also include a special guest for the kids, Santa himself.

A few slight modifications have to be made on Santa’s 2020 Model Sleigh but he will be there to bring smiles to the children after a tough year.

The Christmas extravaganza twilight market is on 5th of December from 3-8pm at Usher Park Daisy Hill.
