Logan City Council is committed to providing quality services and is developing new ways to better engage with its customers and the community.

In 2019, Logan community members and Council’s customers were asked to share their experiences when dealing with Council.

They were also asked about their ideas on how we could improve our service delivery.

The result is the 2020-2024 Draft Customer Experience Strategy.

City Lifestyle Committee Chairperson Councillor Laurie Koranski said Council’s recent endorsement of the strategy to proceed to community consultation was an exciting milestone.

This engagement process will assist in finalising the strategy.

“We are a large, diverse and complex service organisation which provides services to our local community and customers,” Cr Koranski said.

Residents, visitors, government agencies, investors, businesses and their workers all interact with Council. 

“We need to ensure all our services are as efficient and effective as they can be,” she said.

Cr Koranski thanked everyone who participated in the initial consultation phase.

“They provided constructive and valuable insights into how Council is performing.”

Cr Koranski said Council would now liaise further with the community to ensure it was on the right track with the strategy.

“Did we hear you correctly when you told us how we were going, what was working well and what needed improvement?

“We hope the community will take the time to view the strategy again and provide any extra feedback.”
