The warmer weather is here, and Logan City Council are expecting a splash at their food and music event as Eats & Beats returns to Logan Gardens this month.

The final event for the year is on Friday, October 29 and council are encouraging everyone to bring their togs and towels for a splash in the popular Logan Gardens water play area.

The water play area, in Logan Central, features brightly coloured lighting which allows the fun to continue even when the sun goes down.

More than 20 food trucks will serve dinner and dessert from 5pm.

City Lifestyle Chair Councillor Laurie Koranski said she hoped to see hundreds of people attend the event, in a COVID-Safe way.

“It is fantastic to get along to Eats & Beats and see the smiles on the faces of people of all ages,” Cr Koranski said.

“Eats & Beats is a wonderful celebration for our community and this month’s event will be no exception.

“I encourage everyone to put October 29 in your calendars, pack some togs for the kids and prepare to relax at the year’s final Eats & Beats.”

Logan Gardens is at 12 Civic Parade, Logan Central.

Parking is available behind the nearby Logan Entertainment Centre, next to the Logan Brothers football fields. There is a concrete pathway between the carpark and the parkland area.
