Shaping the future of the City of Logan is comes from ideas of residents and the Logan City Council is asking for help on ideas on what people want.
Logan City Council will roll out a Community Visioning process over the next 10 months beginning today (September 18).
This will guide the development of the 2022-2027 Corporate Plan.
City of Logan Mayor Darren Power urged the community to be part of this significant project.
“It is vital to ensure your voice is heard and your ideas captured so Council’s plans for Logan represent what is important to our community,” Cr Power said.
“It is important we understand what you value and your aspirations for the future.”
Residents will be invited to comment via Council’s Have your Say platform – /haveyoursaylogan.com.au/
Community engagement will also be done by Councillors, on social media and digital channels, at selected venues and through community partners.
Later in the project more in-depth information will be captured from a range of local stakeholders.
Community visioning has been identified as an essential process in the development of Council’s long-term strategies.
It was a key element of the Strategic Planning and Performance Management Framework, adopted by Council last December.
