The red carpet is at the cleaners and the lights are on their way for the third Combined Logan Chambers of Commerce Business Distinction Awards.

The awards committee received 495 nominations for businesses in the City of Logan with 100 of them submitting their applications.

To make the announcement of the finalists, the Logan Chamber of Commerce held a business breakfast and read out the list for each category.

Overall, there are 19 categories as well as five special major awards – New or emerging business, Sustainability, Innovation, Community contribution, Inclusiveness and Business of the Year.

This years awards program will culminate in a ceremony at Distillery Road Market Hall on August 19. Tickets are still available at a cost of $117.14 on the loganbusinessawards.com.au website.
