From the well known favourite Mr Whippy to OMG Decadent Donuts and the Dagwood Dog Guy with coffee vans and iced tea to wash it all down.

The festival also had face painting for the kids and a wet jump and slid castle. The staff also opened the rooms of the centre to show people what the kids do daily along with more fun activities of drawing and storytelling.

Centre Director Sherry said the day was the open day and we are promoting our open day, promoting the centre and community awareness of what we do.

“Having the food trucks was to get the numbers here and to be apart of the community so the community can come, have a great day and know that we are here.

“This is our first open day event like this, and it will be an annual thing and it is a fun day for the locals.

“If people see what we do and want to sign their kids up that is great, but it is all about the community today and promoting our centre,” she said.
