Stallholders are back on the Village Green in Logan Village as the Logan Regional Markets have made their return. Bargain-hunters are champing at the bit to get back to the markets knowing that the COVID safe markets have plenty of items for sale.
The markets, which are on the first Sunday of each month from 7am-12noon, came back from COVID for two months and when the Logan COVID spike happened the team decided to stop for safety. Now they are back again on Sunday October 4th.
The markets are run by the Logan Regional Chamber of Commerce and see local micro and small businesses attend to sell their items. These can include home-made items, bric-a-brac, produce, flowers and much more.
Along with these items there are always a few good food vans with the Lions Club also running a BBQ for the event.
Logan Regional Chamber of Commerce President Chyerl Pridham said a lot of hard work and passion have gone into the inception of these Markets. “We have worked collaboratively with a number of the local community groups to ensure everyone benefits from the visitors to the Logan Village Green. We hope to see them continue to grow”.
