McHappy Day 2020 took place today and is on till midnight so there is still time to get a Big Mac burger to help out.

Each year, all McDonald’s restaurants across Australia host McHappy Day, supporting Ronald McDonald House Charities Australia. This annual contribution assists Ronald McDonald House Charities to support more families with seriously ill children.

Last year, McHappy Day raised $5.9m for Ronald McDonald House Charites Australia and this year they are hoping to raise that if not more.

“The McDonalds stores at Logan Central, Marsden, Holmview, Eagleby and more owned by Janelle Macginley really look after me with vouchers that I can give to house fire victims and also help to feed the emergency workers on long nights.

“Me giving my time to help and raise some money for the families of a children diagnosed with a serious illness is a no brainer.”

The people of Logan have been extremely generous with their change in from the car or their pockets and have really been digging deep. Along with the money raised, 10c from every 600mL bottle of water sold and $2 from every Big Mac sold on McHappy Day goes directly to RMHC.
