For anyone who has driven out through Logan Village to Tamborine will have seen the Green Frog Hollow Café on the right a few kays out of the village.
If you travelled that road for as many years as I have you would also be aware that it’s been there a long time and in the past was known for being a great plant nursery; unfortunately like many plant nurseries the long dry summers and water restrictions took its toll.
The present owners who have operated for the past four and a half years saw an opportunity to do something great and have made it a fantastic place to go for entertainment as well as a wonderful and interesting café with a relaxing atmosphere.

Now and for the past 18 months it’s only operated as a café and a great venue for weddings, parties etc. Its long been a meeting place for car clubs to have show ‘n’ shines and there is karaoke regularly on Saturday nights.
I have been there on several occasions over the last few years and have always enjoyed the food. The main function of Green Frog Hollow is being a breakfast and brunch restaurant and diner and party venue; when it comes to the menu it’s hard to beat.
I can recommend trying everything on the menu then checkout the excellent selection of cakes or head straight to the ice cream bar. There is something there for everyone. I almost forgot to mention how great the coffee is and while you’re there have a stroll around the gardens it’s certainly worth a look.

For those that don’t know Green Frog Hollow Café it can be found at 1551 Waterford Tamborine Rodd Logan Village.
For opening times and more information I suggest checking the cafes Facebook page.
