Solar Citizens is teaming up with the Queensland Community Alliance to host an Afternoon with Queensland’s Energy Minister Mick de Brenni the Springwood Community Centre before the launch of the State’s 10-Year Energy Plan.

Right now, the Queensland Government is developing an Energy Plan that will lay the foundation for how much renewable energy comes online in the Sunshine State over the next 10 years in the lead up to hosting the world’s first climate positive Olympics.

The forum with the Energy Minister is an opportunity to hear from him before the release of the Energy Plan, followed by a chance for local audience members to ask the Minister their questions in a Q&A session.

Following the forum, there will be a range of electric vehicles (EVs) on display outside of the venue, including a vehicle-to-load EV running a BBQ for participants. EV owners will be there to answer any questions about their experiences.

The event is on this Saturday, September 17, at 2:30pm – 5pm. To RSVP to this free event CLICK HERE.
