With just over a week until ANZAC Day 2024, Logan is once again hosting several commemoration services.

Last year, numbers were high across the city, and it is expected that more locals will make their way to either a dawn service or morning service.

“ANZAC Day traces its origins back to April 25, 1915, when Australian and New Zealand troops landed on the shores of Gallipoli during World War I,” Scott Buchholz MP for Wright said.

“It is a day to honour the courage, sacrifice, and mateship of our servicemen and women, past and present.”

Below are services taking place in Logan on April 25, from 4:25am.

Beenleigh and District RSL Sub Branch

• Dawn Service: 5:30am sharp, Beenleigh War Memorial, corner Crete and James Streets, Beenleigh
• March assembly: 9:00am, corner Kokoda and York Streets, Beenleigh
• March: 9:30am sharp, corner Kokoda and York Streets, Beenleigh
