It is the time of AGMs with the Beenleigh Yatala Chamber of Commerce holding their Annual General Meeting today.

After two years leading the chamber, former president Kerrie Saverin stood down to give way to new ideas and leadership. Although she has not left, taking on the secretary role for the next 12 months.

New president, Aki Sihto, has moved his way up from a board member to taking control and lead his committee into the future.

Well known and loved community member Shane Drew has stepped up to vice president which made room for Kerrie to fill his previous position.

The treasurer role has seen Leanne Taylor stepping back and longtime board member Heather Christensen take on this role.
