Police are appealing for public assistance in relation to an armed robbery in Marsden yesterday, June 7.

Initial investigations suggest around 5pm, a 12-year-old boy was riding his e-scooter along Second Avenue, when a male armed with a knife exited a car and approached him.

The male threatened the boy and stole several personal items, including the e-scooter, before returning to the car and fleeing.

The boy was not physically injured in the incident.

Police are appealing for anyone who was in the vicinity of Second Avenue that has dashcam or CCTV to contact police.
