Woodridge Police Beat, alongside Logan District Crime Prevention Unit, deployed the Mobile Police Beat to Dart Park, Kingston, on Saturday, December 17, for Coffee with a Cop.

The event saw many local residents come to the park to enjoy a coffee, while discussing issues or concerns within the local area.

Woodridge Police Beat and Loganlea Police Beat have teamed up with Road Policing Unit to address certain issues including the use of illegal trail bikes.

The community reception to this was positive and resulted in improved reporting on the number of trail bikes in the area.

Senior Constable Turnbull said, “We would also like to extend a special thank you to Bank of Queensland for supporting our event, as well as to local member Teresa Lane for attending and addressing council issues raised.”
