Community Bank Logan is expanding their reach across the south east corner of the state with the Helensvale branch now under the leadership of CEO and Executive Director in Kate Wakeling and her team.
Already operating four branches, Browns Plains, Beenleigh, Springwood, and Loganholme, the addition of the fifth is exciting for the team.
“The acquisition of the Helensvale branch continues to grow Community Bank Logan and the team, ensuring more meaningful impact is achieved,” said Community Bank Logan CEO and Executive Director, Kate Wakeling.
“We’re looking forward to supporting the Helensvale community with sponsorships, partnerships, and investing back into the community.”
This comes off the back of Community Bank Logan’s 20th year with more than $2.5 million invested back into the Logan community over the years. Now with the Helensvale branch, Community Bank Logan is looking forward to growing that number in 2024.
After supporting several community-led initiatives and organisations in Logan, including providing a sand bagging machine to make the community more resilient for future floods to sponsoring the Beenleigh Yatala Junior Chamber of Commerce’s Young Business Leader program where students become entrepreneurs, Community Bank Logan is keen to become involved with and support the Helensvale community.
Situated in the Helensvale Plaza Shopping Centre, Branch Manager, Peter Kai-Nielsen and Helensvale Mobile Relationship Manager, Karen McDonald have extensive experience in delivering financial services and collaborating with the community to give back.
Community Bank Logan’s unique profit model ensures the community is empowered through investments and proactive actions, fostering financial growth.
Established in 2011, Community Bank Helensvale already supports Scripture Union Australia, the Jack Beasley Foundation, and several local sporting clubs, including Labrador Tigers AFL, Broadwater Netball Club, and Runaway Bay Cricket Club.
“We are thrilled to join the Community Bank Logan community and further our impact in the Helensvale and surrounding Northern Gold Coast communities,” said Community Bank Helensvale Branch Manager, Peter Kai-Nielsen.
“We are so proud of the community we have established in Helensvale and cannot wait to grow our outreach and support.”
