Today, 23 March, at IGA Loganholme, a fundraiser has been organised to help raise money for a family who lost everything in a house fire.

Alex and Brooke and their two young children, Drew and Ellie, lost their home and everything inside in a house fire on March 18 in Tanah Merah.

All four were taken to hospital for smoke inhalation after the fire and along with losing all possessions, family cars and car seats, the family also lost their puppy, Luna, who tragically died because of the fire.

The community started early by giving the family clothing and other household items and a friend set up a Go Fund Me page which has so far raised almost $9,000.
