Mother’s Day has been and gone for another year, but Hyperdome Shopping Centre and Bakers Delight are keeping the celebrations running for a little longer.
The Centre and popular bakery are teaming up once more for a special initiative that not only celebrates all the wonderful women out there but gives back to a well-deserving charity too.
Perfect for families to get involved in, Hyperdome’s Pink Finger Bun workshops will run for a second consecutive weekend, this Saturday 15th May, after a successful launch over the Mother’s Day weekend.
Sweet-tooths are in for a tasty treat, icing two take-home pink finger buns – symbolic of the chosen breast cancer charity they are partnering with – before getting to enjoy the fruits of their labour (and who doesn’t love a good finger bun?).
Hyperdome will donate $5 to Breast Cancer Network Australia for every booking made, while Bakers Delight will also donate 75 per cent of all proceeds from the workshops to the cause (the remaining funds will go towards covering the cost of some ingredients).
Additionally, Bakers Delight franchisee Liz and her staff will be donating their time to host the workshops, which will run every 20 minutes from 9.30am to 2.00pm each day.
“We’re delighted to be rolling out our Mother’s Day workshops in partnership with Bakers Delight for a very special cause,” said Charlotte Hall, Marketing Manager of Hyperdome Shopping Centre.
“Over the course of the two-day event series, we’re hoping to raise hundreds of dollars for vital women’s breast cancer research, and we encourage our local community to get on board by participating in these hands-on classes that will make for a great Mother’s Day activity for the whole family.”
