The Community Sponsorship and Grants Program for 2024 by Covella by AVID Property Group (AVID) and Greenfields Development Company (Greenfields) is making a return for its second year with the aim to support more local organisations.

The sponsorship and grants form part of Covella’s overarching Community Engagement and Events Program which will support local initiatives and see significant funds invested back into the region this year.

Chairman of the joint venture with Greenfields, AVID Executive General Manager Bruce Harper said the grants play an important role in supporting Covella residents and the wider Logan community.

“We are looking forward to strengthening Covella’s ties with the local community and continuing our goal of fostering lasting connections with local community groups important to our residents,” Mr Harper said.

“These grants not only provide vital financial assistance but help develop resilient, adaptive, and vibrant communities – a focus that has been underpinned by our commitment to the region.

“We’re proud to be reintroducing the grants program this year, to again help residents and community groups thrive and prosper.”

Covella’s Sponsorships and Grants Program offers two categories – The Connect grant helps to create lasting community partnerships and connections at a local level and The Activate grant supports local initiatives at a grassroots level with projects delivered within Covella.

Last year the grants program in the Covella community supported the Greenbank Scout Group and Greenbank State School P&C who received vital funds for new, upgraded equipment as well as support for fundraising events.

Applications for Covella’s Community Sponsorship and Grants Program are now open and will close on Wednesday, 6 March 2024. Successful applicants will be notified on Wednesday 20 March 2024. For more information and how to apply, visit:
