The Democrasaurus looks to have become extinct since the last siting of this endangered trailer was December 7 last year.

While the community has been on the hunt for the elusive dino trailer, it is not looking like Cr Mindy Russell with have her Indiana Jones moment of finding the treasure.

Hopes were high when a local spotted a dinosaur being transported in a trailer near Logan only to find out it was not the missing reptile.

When Cr Russell was asked if she thought she would see her dinosaur trailer again, “Hmm, I really don’t know,” she said.

As for the police, they have advised Cr Russell that her missing trailer is not a priority.
