Christmas celebrations were meant to be at Edens Landing because the storms cleared just in time for the Edens Landing Police Beat community Christmas.

Friday, December 15, police from Edens Landing Police Beat, along with many locals from the community celebrated Christmas without letting the storms dampen their spirit.

The officers of Edens Landing Police Beat were thrilled to see the large number of excited little faces that came out to check out the Christmas light display at the Edens Landing Police Beat.

There was even a surprise visit from Santa, who took some time out of his very busy schedule this time of year to drop by and find out what the children would like for Christmas.

The local community generously donated gifts to the Edens Landing Gift Drive which saw 77 individual gifts donated to Logan charity, YFS.

This helped make some vulnerable children’s Christmas that little bit more magical this year, thanks to the donations.

The Lions Club of Logan Village were out to cook up a feast for the community, which was funded by Logan City Council, Division 6 Councillor Tony Hall, to make it a completely free event for those who came to enjoy.

The Christmas Lights on the Edens Landing Police Beat have been set up by the local officer in their own time and at their own expense.

Just another way for this jolly officer to connect and engage with the local community.
