A man has died following a vehicle and pedestrian traffic crash in Logan Central yesterday, May 4.

Initial investigations indicate just before 4.30pm, a 90-year-old Woodridge male pedestrian was struck by a vehicle on Blackwood Road.

He sustained critical injuries and was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital where he died as a result of his injuries.

The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, a 23-year-old Woodridge woman, was not physically injured.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the incident and appeal to anyone who witnessed the crash, or has relevant dashcam or CCTV footage, to contact police.
