The Global Food Market on in Woodridge weekly is moving, but just a 50-metres up the road and for around six months.
Due to road works taking place on Croydon Road, the much-loved markets fruit and veg stalls will move to Station Road in the rail parking area while the food vendors will remain unchanged.
While this means a few less parks for patrons, it allows the markets to continue every Sunday from 6am to 12pm.
The Global Food Markets have been running in Croydon Road since 2005 when five Cambodian and Islander farmers started bringing their fresh produce to the street to sell.
It took a few years but the markets reputation for fresh produce at affordable prices saw them expand to over 100 stall holders.
Now the market is filled with fresh produce and authentic street food vendors from the local community, serving up a rich feast for the senses and putting the markets on the map for day all.
The move takes place from this Sunday (14 January).
