A residential community in Greenbank will play host to a Christmas party on Friday 8 December, bringing residents together for an evening of Carols and rumoured special guest appearance from the North Pole.

The almost sold out event will be held in the park at Covella by AVID Property Group (AVID) and Greenfields Development Company (Greenfields), offering an exciting outdoor festive experience for an expected 300 attendees.

Chairman of the joint venture Bruce Harper said initiatives like Covella’s Christmas celebrations, were important to AVID and Greenfields to foster community spirit and inclusivity.

“Covella’s Christmas event will be a great way to kick off the Christmas celebrations and form positive lasting connections with neighbours these holidays,” Mr Harper said.

“Fostering community spirit is crucial and this Christmas party is a testament to our commitment behind developing communities that bring neighbours together.”

With something for the whole family, Christmas at Covella will offer a Christmas Lights Competition parade, Carols by Candlelight, face painting and henna art, plus a special guest appearance from Santa Claus himself.

Pre-entertainment activities begin at 5pm with the Christmas Lights competition parade followed by photos with Santa at 6pm. To finish the night, Carols by Candlelight will commence at 7pm.
