Police are continuing their investigation into the large-scale honing event which occurred in the vicinity of Waterford West yesterday, March 9.
Officers responded to reports of a large group of people gathering for an event in Bourke Street, around 2pm.
Approximately 350 people attended the area, with some vehicles committing traffic related offences and driving in a dangerous manner.
Multiple crews attended the location and declared an out-of-control event and blocked off the street.
Three police cars were damaged as a result of the event and are appealing for information to identify several people as they continue their investigations.
Police from Logan, Gold Coast, and South Brisbane Districts, as well as specialist police responded and had the event under control around 4pm.
The officers in the police vehicles that were attacked were not physically injured and one person was taken into custody.
Investigators are also appealing for anyone with any further information that may assist their enquiries into the event to come forward.
Further investigations are underway into the conduct of those involved.
