The end of school for term three will start with a movie night at the Beenleigh Town Square, hosted by Logan City Council.

The night kicks off from 5pm with some retro video games and for the first 100 people a free cup of popcorn.

Bring your own chair or picnic blanket and get set up in the square in time for the 5:30pm screening of DC League of Super Pets.

“Today is the day and the weather is looking fabulous,” said Cr Karen Murphy.

“We’re excited to bring our movie nights back to the Beenleigh Town Square. We’ve put new measures in place to ensure you have a safe and enjoyable night.”

The event is free and at the Beenleigh Town Square, Corner of Crete and Kent Streets, Beenleigh with parking on the streets surrounding the square.
