Each month, for the remainder of 2023, Living in Logan will be selecting someone from the community who goes above and beyond. Often, the people who give so much are overlooked but they just continue to do what they do best.
This month’s legend has lived in Logan for more than 40 years, has raised her family while working full-time, and met her husband Neil (her number one fan) who swept Gail off her feet.
Gail Harrower is now dedicated full-time to her charity, Mission Possible, which sees her all over Logan and the south-east giving and helping many organisations.
Gail started Mission Possible over 20 years ago while working in palliative care at Logan Hospital and now is dedicated to helping as many organizations as possible.
Mission Possible sees a group of devoted volunteers create all kinds of hand made products that are then given to groups that need them the most. Gail has groups from all over southeast Queensland making products for donation.
Camp Quality, Palliative Care groups, Logan Birthing Suite, nursing homes, dementia patients, hospitals, and so many more are recipients of Mission Possibles work.
She is very modest, but Gail is a true Logan Legend, and the world needs more people like Gail.
