Last week, police liaison officers and police officers from Logan, Mount Gravatt, and other stations were amongst the VIPs, families and visitors visiting the Fo Guang Shan Tian Temple on Underwood Road, Priestdale to celebrate Lunar New Year.

Lunar New Year, also known as Chinese New Year and the Spring Festival in China, celebrates the arrival of spring and the beginning of a new year.

2024 is the year of the Dragon, which symbolises good fortune, strength, and health.

Officers enjoyed the entertainments and displays of traditional Chinese foods that symbolise prosperity, abundance, and a spirit of togetherness.
