Logan Detectives have charged a 38-year-old Logan man following investigations after a serious traffic crash and fire at Park Ridge on Sunday, January 21.

It will be alleged that the man was the driver of the white hatchback, now identified as a Toyota Kluger, which was involved in the incident, before he fled the area.

The 38-year-old man was taken into custody at a Kingston residence last night, January 22.

He has since been charged with four counts of arson, two counts of possess dangerous drugs, and one count each of acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm, possess controlled substance, possess utensil.

He was refused police bail and is due to appear in Beenleigh Magistrates Court today, January 23.
