A 33-year-old man has been charged following an alleged altercation at a property on Stoney Camp Road at Park Ridge South, yesterday September 29.
It will be alleged he and another man got into a verbal argument that turned physical around 7.30pm last night.
During the incident the 61-year-old male victim was allegedly punched in the head causing him to fall to the floor, where he was again struck multiple times.
Emergency crews were called, and the man was taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital with serious injuries.
The 33-year-old Park Ridge South man has been charged with acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm.
He is expected to face Beenleigh Magistrates Court today, September 30.
