Tomorrow, 10 October, is Firefighters Remembrance Day which is a day to honour fallen firefighters who paid the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.
Commemorative services will be held around the state at 10am.
During the services, Queensland Fire and Emergency Services (QFES) will pause for a minute’s silence.
Flags will be flown at half-mast at fire stations across the state to pay tribute to the 59 firefighters who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty since 1877.

- Far Northern Region – Mother of Good Counsel Church, 90 Ranking Street, Innisfail
