The time has come for celebrating Christmas and events are popping up all over the city for all to celebrate.
On Friday, December 15, LECNA is celebrating with their yearly Christmas Carols event for members of the community.
Collaborating with the Southern Cross Voices, who have been active in the local choral community for decades, the event is set to be a lot of fun for all.
Organised by the staff and volunteers of LECNA as well as local members of the community, the Christmas Carol event will be a fantastic way to get into the spirit of the festive season.
“Christmas is a time to come together,” said LECNA manager Cassie Paton.
“Many families may be separated over this time and LECNA’s Carols brings the community together to share and celebrate together.”
In addition to a special appearance from Santa, there will be raffles, a free sausage sizzle, and a variety of kids craft activities for the children to enjoy.
“We have been contacted directly by Santa telling us that the children of Springwood have been exceptionally good this year,” said Cassie.
“He is looking forward to seeing all the children on the 15th December. We welcome all community members to attend and sing along with the Southern Cross Voices and celebrate together as a community.”
The Christmas Carols will be held at LECNA in Springwood on 15 December starting with the sausage sizzle at 5:30pm with Southern Cross Voices to begin from 6:00pm.
