A fancy dinner is always enjoyable and when it is also for a good cause to help raise funds, it has more meaning to the eating.

Charlie and Jenny Bennett, together with The White House of Waterford, held a fancy fundraiser to help bring in much needed money for MS Queensland.

The dinner saw 36 supporters attend including Attorney-General and Minister for Justice Minister for Women and Minister for the Prevention of Domestic and Family Violence Shannon Fentiman MP and Logan House Fire Support Network founder Louie Naumovski.

“Jenny and Charlie Bennett, it was my pleasure spending the evening with you and donating a Fire Safety Pack from our good friends at Quell Fire Safety for the raffles,” said Mr Naumovski.

“Charlie is well known in the Logan area always seen shaking a tin and pleading with people to donate and we applaud him for his efforts to raise as many funds as possible to find a cure to help not only his loving wife but the many people that suffer from this disease, so if you see him out and about, dig deep.”

The night raised just under $2,000 with all of that going directly to MS Queensland.

“It was a sensational night,” said Charlie Bennett.

“Bec and Leigh at The White House of Waterford put on a great night with sensational food, and fantastic entertainment from Charlie McFarlane.

“Lots of laughs were had with Mike Bennett from 101FM as our MC.

“I can honestly say the generosity of people down here in Logan is amazing and we are trying to make this an annual event.”
