Detectives from the Logan Criminal Investigation Branch have charged a man in relation to a shots fired incident at Loganlea.

It is alleged around 7.50pm on March 4, police were called to a Jellicoe Street address after a report of several shots being fired.

No one was injured in the incident.

Following investigations, detectives located and arrested a 48-year-old Springwood man at Springwood on March 6.

He has been charged with multiple offences, including breach of bail, dangerous conduct with a weapon, domestic violence offence, unlawful use of a motor vehicle and possession of an explosive, namely ammunition, whilst not being authorised.

He was refused police bail and is due to appear at Beenleigh Magistrates Court on March 7.
