New updates are coming to the Springwood Park Playground and currently Logan City Council has a ‘Have Your Say’ on the concept plan.
Springwood Parks (Cinderella Dr, Springwood) next stage of works includes the replacement and upgrade of the internal ring road to provide additional parking and lighting.
Two dog off leash areas, universally accessible toilet, pathway and BBQ facilities have recently been added for convenience and safety, accommodating the growing number of visitors.
Council plan to introduce a new concept for the playground, featuring fantastic additions like shelters with picnic settings, an impressive multi-play structure, timber swings, a rocker, a trampoline, misting posts, nature play equipment, beautiful garden beds, a community library, and a native beehive.
These improvements aim to create an inviting and inclusive environment where residents of all ages can connect with nature, engage in active play, and make lasting memories.
The ‘Have Your Say’ survey is active now until July 16, 2023, and gives residents the opportunity to tell Council your opinion on the draft concept design of the playground.
