Mount Warren Indoor Sports Centre (including InSports Health & Fitness Mt Warren) has been commandeered by the Queensland Government for a major government program.

All gym and sporting facilities will be temporarily unavailable for several months effective from Wednesday 8 September 2021.

While the centre is being used, all group fitness classes will continue as per the schedule and will be conducted across the road at the Beenleigh Showgrounds Old Pavilion and the Beenleigh Events Centre. All aqua classes will continue as normal as per schedule.

For gym members, access to the gyms at Logan North Aquatic & Fitness Centre and Logan Metro Sports Centre will still be available. However, if members cannot access these other locations memberships will be paused until Mount Warren reopens.

Cr Karen Murphy said, “I want to stress that Logan City Council does not control Queensland Government run programs.

“All we can do is work with the state government to minimise disruption and provide alternative arrangements to those impacted as much as possible.”
