A 17-year-old male presented to Logan Hospital with a gunshot wound in the early hours of this morning, 7 September.
Around 1.10am the teen, who had sustained a gunshot wound to his right chest, was taken to the emergency section of the hospital.
The boy has since been transferred to a Brisbane hospital and is in a critical condition.
Police are seeking information from the public while they are working to determine how and at what location the boy has sustained the injury.
