A free, fun community event for has been organised for locals in the community affected by the Christmas Day storms and floods.
Being held at the Thunder Footy Fields, Jimboomba Sports Park, South Street, Jimboomba, the event will feature live local artists, including a seven-piece band, kids entertainment, food trucks, classic cars, and plenty of kid’s activities.
The event is being put together by division nine councillor Scott Bannan and his friend B, with plans to make the event huge and fun.
“After mother nature laying the boot in, I’ve teamed up with the amazing B to host a free family fun night on January 20th from 5pm – 9pm for everyone in the affected areas,” said Cr Bannan.
“Come along and have a chilled night with great people and great music.”
To enjoy a sit down on the night, it is recommended that you bring your own seating such as chairs, rugs, beanbags, or grab a patch of grass and make it yours.
