A man has been charged with several drug and property offences after several items were allegedly located at a Waterford property last week.

Around 7pm on Sunday July 23, officers from the Logan District Drug and Firearm Team executed a search warrant at the Kenilworth Crescent property, where it is alleged a total of 144g of methylamphetamine, 980 grams of cannabis, and 1.5 litres of gamma-butyrolactone was located and seized.

A shortened rifle, taser torch, stolen motorcycle, multiple drug utensils and paraphernalia, and over $45,000 in Australian currency was also located and seized.

A 28-year-old Waterford man was charged with four counts of possessing dangerous drugs, two counts each of unlawful possession of a weapon, possessing items associated with drugs, and one count each of possess relevant substance, unlawful possession of a motor vehicle, contravene magistrates order for electronic devices, possess proceeds of drug offences, and possess tainted property.

He has been remanded in custody and will next appear in Beenleigh Magistrates Court on September 26.
