This Friday and Saturday, September 9 and 10, that annual Logan Writers Festival at Logan’s Artist Association in Loganlea. This event will give the opportunity to engage with authors, learn from industry professionals and connect with like-minded readers.
“There is an exponential amount of literary talent in the city of Logan,” event organisers said.
“This festival is one of the best places for writers and readers to meet, share their love of writing, and connect with the incredible community we have in this diverse city.
“Stories are one of the most ancient forms of communication, history and connectedness, and over 70 per cent of Australian’s say it is their favourite form of entertainment.

The festival will feature 30 incredible speakers and a wealth of knowledge to help any author’s career flourish.
One of the tests will be about the craft of writing, one for talks about the story behind your books and a new feature to this year’s festival, a gathering of authors, writers, editors and vocal experts to show how to run a successful career as an author.
“Our literary community in Logan aim to discover the best ways to reach readers.
“By building stronger communities with our local libraries, government, industry leaders, readers and writers, we aim to make the “starving artist” a myth in Logan.
