The Honda Accord is the second-longest-running automotive nameplate in Honda’s history and has become a household name in Australia for almost five decades.
First launched in Australia in 1977, the Honda Accord nameplate has won numerous Australian awards, including Wheels Car of The Year which was the first for a Japanese manufacturer.
The all-new Honda Accord comes with a sophisticated and sporty design, and a fuel-efficient and claimed exhilarating driving experience.
The all-new 11th-generation Accord is longer and sleeker with premium proportions and a broad stance, further advancing the Honda design direction with a low horizontal beltline and a long, powerful front end. Accord backs up its sleek new looks with more confident and refined dynamics.
Inside, a new sporty and modern interior offers fine craftsmanship, high-quality materials, and advanced features.
“The Honda Accord has a rich history in the Australian market as a sophisticated, luxurious flagship model which has been a customer favourite since its arrival in 1977,” said Honda Australia Director Ms. Carolyn McMahon.
“This new model offers the premium feel that Accord is renowned for, coupled with additional technological advancements, including the arrival of Google built-in and the next generation of Honda Connect.”

Mated to the petrol engine is a pair of larger and more powerful electric motors which are now mounted side-by-side rather than in-line with the engine crankshaft as in the two-motor hybrid system in previous generations.
The new E-CVT is equipped with a new traction motor which spins at 14,500 rpm producing 135 kW of power and 335 Nm of traction motor torque.
The generator motor, which spins at 19,000 rpm, is dedicated to charging the battery pack. The system’s combined output is 152 kW.
The Fourth-Generation E-CVT also features a new high and low speed lock up for direct drive in a wider range of driving conditions.
A true benchmark in its class, the all-new Accord is the best Honda Accord ever, delivering an unbeatable combination of style, efficiency, performance, and connectivity.
