I’ve heard a lot of great things said over the last couple of years about this cafe which was established in 2017 and it seems all of them are true. Above the door is a sign “Come in & Relax” and that’s exactly how I felt from the moment I walked in.

The service is excellent from the moment you step up to the counter and backed up by exceptional food from what I first regarded as a standard café menu but with a several more interesting options. I’m sure to go back and try more of this menu as there is nothing standard about the quality of the food and of course the coffee.

My regular readers would by now be aware I’m fussy about my coffee and like it very hot and often ask for it to be extra hot. There was no need to ask here as the coffee was as hot as I like it and when I saw the Simply Beans coffee sign I knew the coffee would taste excellent.

I chose to have an omelette with bacon, mushrooms and cheese; which for an omelette was up there with the best I’ve had. Not every café can do a great omelette as I have been finding out.

Both the breakfast and lunch menu has something for everybody including a kids menu and the menu will not disappoint anyone.

Cafe Meadow can be found at shop 16, 2-2 Edenlea Drive Meadowbrook. It’s just down the road from Logan Hospital in the IGA Meadowbrook complex so it has plenty of parking.

They have a Facebook page which is worth checking out before visiting and the café is open from 7 am till 2 pm everyday besides Mondays.
