Goodbye grey sky hello blue, cause nothing can hold me when I hold you, feel so right, can’t be wrong, when I get to eat from this menu. And if you didn’t pick up on the song intro that’s okay but you will not want to miss the opportunity to get into Happy Dayz Café in Loganholme.
For a snack, meal or coffee, the team at Happy Dayz will make your day better as they live and breath their business to ensure the best customer service and quality food that really is mouth-watering.
Lauren and Jess who have known each other for over 20 years, bought the café just over a year ago when the pandemic was still causing hurt for many businesses in Logan.
“We got put into lockdown the first day and we honestly just rolled with the punches, and we just did takeaway,” said Lauren and Jess.

“We have a great community, and they were so grateful that we were still open throughout all of it.
“The best thing about owning a café in Logan is the customers, the people, being able to be ourselves and the community is fabulous.
“We decided to open on the Monday as this café was always closed on a Sunday and Monday, so we extended the hours to now be seven days a week and two nights.”
Getting down to the food, the ladies have a set menu with lots of the classic favourites with the Happy Dayz twist. They also have specials that are seasonal with roasts and soups in the winter and more fresh, lighter meals as the months become warmer. And if you like a sneaky beverage with your meal, they are BYO licenced.

All the burger and chicken patties, and chicken seasoning is made in house and offer a unique flavour to each of the meals. They also do their best to source ingredients locally and from family businesses.
We ordered a club sandwich and chips, chicken schnitzel and chips and loaded waffles, and before you think how I could eat all of that, there were three of us.
The meals are huge, and the prices are not. When sitting there waiting for lunch to come, I see a plate leave the kitchen and say ‘Oh please be mine’ each time. When you get to hang a fang into your meal, the taste is going to be ‘Rockin’ all week for you’ as it is just that good.
There will be more times we head to Happy Dayz Café on Ascot Drive because there is so much more on the menu to try.
