This month I decided pizza and ribs was my food of choice. Several of my friends have been telling me about this new place in Jimboomba called My Pizza Pizza.

There are three locations in Logan, Hillcrest, Kingston and Jimboomba, so I really had to find out more. The opening hours are 4pm to 9pm Tuesday to Sunday and this is how I found myself in Jimboomba on a quite Tuesday evening.

I really loved walking through the door as I felt like I was walking into the café from Happy Days (showing my age here). With black and white checked floors, records and memorabilia on the walls plus there was a small juke box playing some great music in the corner.

There were booths along the wall, plus tables and chairs in the centre and also  seating out the back which I think is really good for families too spread out.  The staff were so lovely and helpful, and doing all the right COVID regulation with wearing masks and keeping everything clean and germ free.

Looking at the menu I found the variety was not the same as any other pizza restaurant. Pizza’s like Full House, Outback, Veggy Lover and an interesting one I think is Cheesybite (Vegemite and Cheese; a good one for the kids) of course the usual Hawaiian, Meat Lovers etc. with prices ranging from $10 to $27. Also on the menu is pasta, chicken schnitzel and parmigiana, loaded fries and salads. The house special is garlic prawns which I shall try next visit.

My husband and I started with a small cheese and garlic pizza instead of garlic bread, great choice. We than decided to forgo the pizza and have ribs. Yes, I forgot to tell you they have ribs.

There is beef and pork ribs; we both had beef. I had the half and my husband had the full serve. Another great choice as the meat just fell of the bone and so filling. Glad I only had the half serve. We did take a pizza home because you cannot go to a pizza restaurant without trying at least two pizzas. Yes of course they do takeaways.

Jump on to My Pizza Pizza Facebook page and check out the menu give them a try you will not be disappointed.
