This being the first edition for the New Year, I found I was very short on time over the Christmas season to find a new and exciting café to write about. I decided to visit a favourite of mine for a second review.

In February 2019 in Issue 12, I visited Stellarossa in Yarrabilba and I have found myself back there just before Christmas. The café has a calming effect on me as I really love the atmosphere and energy of the soundings.

There is no blaring music or noisy interchange, just people enjoying the company of friends over a meal and coffee. What I love about the place is no matter how busy they are you always get a friendly hello as you walk up to the counter.

Stellarossa Yarrabilba has a new summer menu since our last visit, with some very exciting additions. There is everything from pizza, burgers, fish and chips, chicken parmigiana, delicious salads plus all day breakfast (my favourite). There something for everyone plus of course desserts and cake if you want something to go with your coffee. Everything is available for take away plus a delivery service; all of this is at a very reasonable price.

This time I decided to forgo the eggs benny (which by the way are delicious). I think I found my all-time favoured food, Canadian Milk Bun French Toast, yummy with bacon, cinnamon ricotta caramelised banana and toasted walnuts. This, with a Stellarossa unique 5–star blend coffee made my taste buds tingle.

Stellarossa cafés are a franchise with several around Logan. These cafes are individually owned and operated. I have been to a couple of the other Stellarossa’s in the area, I found that even as they go under the Stellarossa banner they are all have their own discrete atmosphere. I think this due to management and staff.

You will find this fantastic café at 2-24 Waldron Street Yarrabilba. Drop in say hi to Aaron (franchisee) and his lovely and helpful staff. You won’t be disappointed.
